These terms apply to all bookings made with The Louk. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.
All rentals are confirmed once payment or deposit has been received. Once confirmed, the selected outfit is reserved exclusively for your rental dates and removed from availability for other customers.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance must be paid prior to collection or delivery.
Deposits are non-refundable as the selected pieces are reserved specifically for your dates.
More than 14 days before the rental start date
A full refund will be issued (excluding any non-refundable deposit) or your booking may be moved to a new date subject to availability.
7–14 days before the rental start date
50% of the booking value may be refunded, or the full amount may be held as credit for a future rental.
Within 7 days of the rental start date
Bookings are non-refundable.
If you decide not to proceed with your booking after confirmation, our standard cancellation terms will apply. As outfits are reserved specifically for your dates, full refunds cannot be provided for change-of-mind cancellations.
Where possible, we will always try to accommodate changes to rental dates if requested at least 7 days before the rental start date, subject to availability.
We offer an optional £15 Rental Protection fee to help cover minor accidental damage during your rental.
Rental Protection covers minor damage such as small rips, minor tears, or stains that can be professionally repaired or cleaned.
Rental Protection does not cover lost items, theft, irreparable damage, or items returned in an unusable condition.
If an item is lost, not returned, or damaged beyond repair, the customer will be responsible for paying the full replacement value of the garment.
Replacement costs reflect the retail value of the item.
All items must be returned by the agreed return date. Late returns may result in additional rental charges as the outfit may be reserved for another customer.
All garments are professionally cleaned by The Louk after each rental. Customers should not attempt to wash or dry-clean items themselves.
All items are checked before and after each rental. Any damage beyond normal wear may result in repair or replacement charges.
