⛷The skiing

Saas-Fee's skiing climbs onto the Fee Glacier, topping out at 3,600m, which is why the snow is so reliable and the season so long. It's a compact ~100km, but high, beautiful and superbly groomed - long glacier cruises with astonishing views, a gentle village nursery area for beginners, and a fun park. It's not a resort for endless mileage or steep thrills; it's about snow-sure, scenic skiing in one of the great mountain amphitheatres.

🚁Getting there

Saas-Fee is car-free, so you park in the big village car park and take an electric taxi in. Little Sion airport is around 1.5 hours; Geneva and Zurich are around three. The scenic option is the train to Visp or Brig, then the PostBus up the valley.
