Hi, I’m Lou — the founder of The Louk.
A few winters ago I spent a season in Val d’Isère and fell completely in love with it — the mountains, the après, and (let’s be honest) the outfits. But I had one problem: I could never find ski wear that felt unique, fun and a little bit different. Everyone was in the same black jacket — and I loved the outfits that really stood out on the slopes.
The designer pieces I fell for — the Perfect Moments, the Goldberghs — were a real investment. And building a whole wardrobe of them, for something you’d wear one week a year then hang up until the next trip, just wasn’t in my budget.
I knew I couldn’t be the only one who wanted to look incredible on the mountain without buying a whole new wardrobe every season. So I decided to build the answer.
